Expectation have been high for one of the more low key releases this summer with “Lucy.” Some might say it’s a rip-off of the Bradley Cooper “Limitless,” but “Lucy” delves so much further into controversial science topics that it is hard to maintain that comparison.
In the scope of comic book movies, there are two kinds: the ones that everyone knows are based on comic books and graphic novels, and the ones that people don’t know are based on anything at all. “Snowpiercer” belongs to the latter category, a science fiction epic based on a French graphic novel and made into a film by South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho.
Paramount and Michael Bay have finally answered all our prayers: a reboot/fourth-quel to Bay’s “Transformers” saga, “Transformers: Age of Extinction.”
